I am satisfied using SIM card rental during my stay in Tokyo. Can use without limitation. I can use google map to show my direction or browsing interesting place for shopping, eating and etc.
I have recommend CDJapan to all my friend and I will using it again when I return to Japan.

The whole process for renting, setting up and using the rental SIM card went very smoothly. The speed was more than adequate most of the time for searching for travel info, and using Facetime or Skype. We did not run into data limits or speed slowdowns although we often had access to WIFI during part of each day. The cost was very reasonable and we will definitely use CDJapan again. Appreciate attention to details such as their directions for mailing back the SIM with a warning that no mailbox would available at Narita past the security checkpoint.

Very easy to rent and to return, cheapest among others, mobile wifi's baterry works almost full day without charging, and internet connection really great.. Only on some underground subways the connection is bad and i believe it happens on others too.. So far it was great experience using cd japan, and will use it again if i going to japan again.

Everything is working in order throughout my 1 week trip. Definitely will order your rental service again for my next trip to Japan.

Service was convenient to use: delivery was made to my hotel the day before I arrived and was ready when I checked in. Returning it was also simple as all I had to do was drop it in the post box.

the device functioned very well. The service was fairly pain-free. The device for some reason stopped working on the last day but by then I was at the airport and just used the free service. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

A very professional and efficient service. The SIM card/SIM tray remover plus comprehensive instructions and return envelope were waiting when we arrived at our hotel in Tokyo. The settings advised in the instructions for my iPhone worked faultlessly, and we had fast and reliable internet access via Docomo throughout our 3 week visit to Japan. Communication from the company was exceptional, with reminders given via email regarding the due date/process for return of the SIM.

If using it at Hokkaido,even in the capital Sapporo, 75% while im there i didnt get signal at all.Other than that all OK.

The signal coverage is superb , which spans all the areas I travelled to. The speed is good too. However The most incovienent part is the initial setup for my iOS9. Unknown lay that I need to download the profile beforehand, I was forced to access a free WIFI from other location so that I could download the require profiles for the Sim cars to work with my phone. I could not use the SIM card right out of the envelope. However I must agree the self pickup and drop off at the airport is very convenient

Good coverage and we have no problem accessing the internet through our 15 days stay in Japan. In fact this is the second time that we have used SIM card from CD Japan Rental and we will definitely continue to rent their SIM cards for our future visits to Japan!

The wimax pocket wifi did not work in niseko and even in major cities (osaka, tokyo), when we moved into shopping center basements, sometimes it would not work.

CDJapan Rental is so far the easiest rental service, which I have found from Japan. It was my first time picking the SIM card from airport, but everything went smoothly and there were no problems. Also returning the SIM card is made super easy. There was also no problems with using the SIM card, so I was able to start using it right after I received it.

Travelled through Gunma,Tokyo, Mie, Aichi, Gifu, Kyoto, Fukuoka, and Kumamoto prefectures during my trip and didn't experience any signal blackouts, even in rural areas. Mostly used the pocket wi-fi for maps, some web-surfing, and uploading pictures on Twitter. Speedy service all around, including on bullet trains. Was a lifesaver as I constantly had to use Google maps to find my way around. Battery lasted me for up to 14+ hours with medium use. Great price. Would highly recommend.

I had a great experience using CDJapan. The English website was easy to navigate. I was able to find the appropriate SIM card rental without a problem. The card arrived in the mail earlier than expected, and everything worked immediately and perfectly. The English instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The return process was quite simple, as well.

When i rented the sim , the rental start date said 21.I needed it for the 20, so when i rented i added a note saying if i could get it one day earlier.
I landed on the 19 and the sim card was already at the hotel when we checked in.
The service is excellent. They were able to meet my needs, and the sim card worked perfectly.
