My partner and I rented SIM cards for 3 weeks. We picked them up at Narita airport and it was relative easy to set them up using Free WiFi there. The whole experience was just great. No complains. At first I was cautious as I couldn't find much information/reviews about this company and their service online but I'm so glad i gave it a go. I'm now recommending their rental SIM card to all my friends who are going to Japan. Highly recommended!

The signal was very weak in my area, though I was staying in Tokyo. I contacted CDJapan about this issue and things improved a bit after 1 week. I still feel the price I paid is too much for what I got.

This was my 2nd time using the rental serice for wifi and it was great. I don't find any cons using the wifi during my travels in Japan. It definitely helped a lot since I travel solo and solely rely on Google maps most of the time. Will definitely choose CDJapan again next time I visit Japan.

This was for us an excellent and efficient service. The modem worked really well everywhere we went (Shirahama/Wakayama, Koya-san, Kyoto and Arashiyama, Osaka, and Beppu). It was fast (and we had the low speed), easy to use, and held a charge. The modem was waiting for us at the KIX airport post office, and there was no line for the pick up area. They came out to us separately. We had it in our hands in two minutes, and it was easy to mail it back in the postage paid envelope. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Excellent service and communication from beginning to end. iPhone nano-SIM worked well.

Apparently I had ordered the wrong SIM card format (micro instead of nano), so I was not able to use it nor to have the real experience.
I was very please with the fact that the envelope was waiting for me at the postal office as promised. And the cost seems competitive.
So next time I will be in Japan I will try again with a nano card ;-)
Since I was not able to use it, I hope that you will return the costs apart from the postal and admin costs

Just got back from using nano rental sim card in my A1522 (CDMA) iPhone 6 Plus. This is the base iPhone 6 Plus on the Verizon network in the US. I had emailed the APN settings to my phone, but ended up hopping on the WiFi at Narita Airport asn used the link on the CD Japan website to update my APN. Card worked perfectly the entire time I was in Japan. Spent 1/2 the week in Tokyo and 1/2 the week in Kyoto. WIll definitely do this again next time i am back in Japan. Got back into the US and deleted the APN and my Verizon network came right back up.

Very good service. Upon arrival, the simcard already in the airport post office. And they prepared return envelope. Very convenient, our whole trip of 5 cities the internet went very well.

The price is very reasonable. The pick up is quite hard but luckily I have my friend who stay in Japan so I can give his address to receive the sim card for me.
