Great service. Convenient, no problems.

I have used the SIM card rental service twice : in Hokkaido in 2014 and in Osaka in 2015, and was happy with the signal coverage and speed on both occasions. The instructions were much clearer and well illustrated for my 2015 rental.

The portable wifi worked great! It was very reliable, and more than good enough for navigating around and basic internet usage such as instant messaging. I never had a problem with battery life as I was fairly conservative with its use. I would consciously make an effort to turn it off whenever I knew I wouldn't be using it for a while and so I was able to go a full day on a single charge no problem. Great value for the price with great service.

Worked like a charm in Osaka, Kyoto, Yokohama, Kamakura, and Tokyo. It was at our hotel when we arrived and was easy to drop off at the mail box as we left,

Thank you for this opportunity, it was a little complicated for me to get this Sim-card to work, but the problem was with my skills. After successful set up, I was able to use this Sim-card during all my stay and when needed, I just prolonged the rent period simply.

My flight was delayed but my friend still managed to pick up the item on my behalf successfully.
I would like suggest your office be open on weekends & public holidays as tourists like me will come in any time.

I had experienced incompatible issues on my HTC One M7 Dual SIM with another prepaid data SIM Card provider previously, but no such thing with CD Japan Sim Card rental at all!

CDJapan Rental was one of the most affordable options for a data sim card. I used it in Tokyo, Fukuoka and Okinawa.

Excellent service. The battery life of the wifi router is great. Last me from morning till night with moderate usage.

The mobile wifi standard speed is good for messaging or email. But slow for surfing or sending pic although only used by 2 phones. But the delivery is impressively fast. Overall good service and experience.

It's the cheapest among other similar site. The guideline for APN setting also easy to understand. The package was coming a day earlier (although it was misplaced due to postman fault) but because of coming earlier I could track and use at the right time. Definitely will rent again if I come to Japan soon!

I have ordered the 7 days rental wifi. I ordered it 3 days before I arrived to tokyo. Picked it up from the post office in Narita, had to ahow the the transaction number and my passport. I stayed only in the Tokyo and the wifi did not disappoint at all even after it slows down.From odering to sending back was soo easy. I am really happy with the service. I used the device with no problems for 2 phones. I will definitely recommend you guys and order it again if I travel back to Japan.

At first day the sim card couldn't connected to internet. Somehow at the second day it automatically connect to internet. Internet network very stable and fast. Will use it again when I comeback to japan

This was a great service! The item was ready for me at the Toyoko Inn, and the front reception actually told me that it's ready without my even asking!

Very smooth process setting it up. Just hold the POWER button for 3 seconds to turn it on, wait half a minute to boot up, then enter in the SSID and password into your Wi-Fi. Battery is good for at least 12 hours, so you can charge it once a day, and not have to worry.

Return at the airport is always sketchy, but looks like the return was received successfully!

Good services but no coverage at Fuji-san area. 圏外になっていました。

The website and ordering was easy and good.
I ordered 2 portable wifi's that were supposed to be no limit and hoghest speed. During my 3 week stay I never ever got either of them up to any high speed. I was all over Tokyo and nowhere there was high speed.
I told CdJapan this and they offered me to return them and get refunded for the remaining days. I appreciate their offer but I needed them for navigation and also to read email on the go so I could not return them.
For reading an email they are ok.For googling for subwaylines they are ok. For streaming tv etc then they are way way to slow.
Not even close to the 120mbit/s mentioned on the site.
If you only need to use it for easy browsing then no prob. If ypu,like me,need them for sending big data files(2gb and more) then you're in for a wait.

Good services and no problem when time i'm using it. And i will continue using your service for WiFi rental when i'm visiting to Japan again.

Very impressed with the overall quality of service, especially the promptness of responses to my inquiries.

The portable wifi unit was most functional, but there were times when the device itself would get stuck restarting itself repeatedly. This is while it still had plenty of battery power left. Also, it did run out of power fairly quickly which was extremely inconvenient, but probably the most inconvenient thing is that you can't use the unit WHILE it's charging.

I used only for email, website & google maps while traveling in Japan (Osaka, Kyoto, Himeji)
If you use wifi more than 5 hours continuously, you will need a powerbank.

Worked great throughout the Country. Used it in Tokyo, Saitama, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Hakata, Okayama and Chiba and it had good coverage.
Easy to order and return.

The device worked very well in every location I've been (Tokyo, Kawaguchiko, Kyoto, Osaka, Nikko). Only the last day around 8PM it suddenly stopped to connect to WiFi, I assumed it was normal.

Great service. Simple and easy to use. Quality coverage. I don't recall any dark zones in coverage in my travels from ikebukero to Mt Mitsumine. Will use again.
