Service was good. The parcel was already delivered to my hotel upon checkin. Instruction manuals were well prepared and clear. The only thing is that sometimes the speed is slow but that was expected as clearly stated in the site.

Service was easy to use and convenient pick up and drop of at Narita Airport.

The shipment was really fast (received it the next day, delivered to Chiba prefecture), and the portable WiFi was small and worked wonders. It worked on every place I visited in the kanto area, except inside some underground buildings. Used it comfortably with both my android device and my windows netbook, and shared it with some travel companions. Even with the speed limit after using up the daily data quota, the speed is even better that the 3G or 4G I have in my country, so for me it was lighting fast. Not for streaming videos, but more than enough for emailing, IM like LINE, Skype (even audio calls), Whatsapp, browsing, google maps, norikaeannnai and games. It takes some time (with the speed limit) to load instagram and facebook, but is still ok for some quick check.

Having a rental simcard during this trip was most likely the best money I spent. A total lifesaver and really convenient. I had full 4G coverage with my Oneplus One, however do note that the sim tool provided with the rental sim card seems to be shorter than the one that was included with the Oneplus phone. I had to use my own sim tool to take out my sim card. Other than that, no problems at all. Just remember to turn off the wifi to use the 4G connection as stated in the provided instructions.

Good reception received throughout. 110MB was sufficient for using Waze, Whatsapp and some minor sharing of pictures on social media. Easy to follow instructions on how to rent, operate and return the device / service.

Really easy to collect and return. Data coverage was excellent in East Japan (Tohoku) and in Tokyo. Highly recommended.

The service is exactly what is promised. It was easy to implement on my iphone 6 but not so easy on an iphone 4. The manual could be improved on that point. Regarding Docomo service, 4G, 3G is not at a top level. It is slow when you are not travelling in big area. In fact, we had the same problem when using wifi offered by Ryokan. Sometimes, it was good, sometimes bad. Thank to our sim cards, we can improve the situation. We use our sim card when driving (navigation through Waze, Google Map, Plan). As it doesn't need high flow, it was always OK.

The battery life is extremely poor.

The pocket wifi I rented was great! It worked everywhere I went, including in the subways!

Really enjoyed using the pocket WIFI as they were very reliable and we did not have any issues with battery life during the day. Great speeds on wifi Router. nanoSIM on iPhone7 had good speed in Tokyo but not so good in Kansai (Osaka & Kyoto), often could not get LTE in Kyoto

Very happy with the service. Reliable and very reasonably priced. I was in Tokyo but also went to Kawaguchiko and Yokohama. The wifi connectivity was good and consistent. Will use again next time I'm in Japan.

I think the unlimited anywhere wifi is too slow. It would also be best if you can pin point places/districts/towns that are not covered by wimax.
