Very helpful. I liked having wi-fi wherever I go without worrying about usage limits. The battery power might be a little too short for some people, but I brought an extra battery with me, so I had no problems.

I had no problems with website for ordering PLUS since we are in USA, your emails at each critical step gave us the assurance we would receive our mobile device at our hotel. The step by step information provided was clear and concise. Finally your confirmation email acknowledging receipt of our return of the device reassured us that everything was ok for us. Internet speeds were terrible. I was struggling to access basic webpages using this pocket Wifi. This forced me to put my UK phone on roaming TK use the internet.

Excellent service - wifi was shipped with plenty of explanation notes that made it super easy. Handy return envelope and explanation on that aspect too.

Very easy to use. WiFi worked well all trip - good reception, even on the metro, and long battery life with quick charge. Instructions for use and returning the device were clear and easy to follow.

SIM worked great in Kyushu!
And CDJapan's CustomerService always answered my emails within 1 day or sooner. Highly recommend!

The device had been already waiting for me at the hotel when I arrived which was pretty nice, because I could use it right away. It's small and could fit in a pocket, but I kept it in my bag all the time (it gets warm when it's in use over a long time).
Charging went pretty fast. I had to charge about 2 times a day, but that was probably because I used it a lot (Google Maps, Instagram and LINE) and sometimes forgot to turn it off when I wasn't using it for a few hours. I recommend to bring a powerbank.

I would totally rent one again.

We use CD Japan every time we are in Japan. And this is quite regular. We have used many different phones and always works fine.

I found that speeds never reflected LTE. I turned on the box on day 1 which was suppose to allow me 200mb of LTE speed. Everyday i found speeds to correlate to edge speed. Was difficult to load any browser page to research areas of japan. Luckily google maps was the only application to load promptly. Picking up and dropping off was a smooth process. I would not rent or recommend this product.

Very simple process, made the trip so much easier for us to have all the data we needed.

The rental service was excellent, My mobile WiFi was waiting for me at my hotel, it was easy to use worked perfect all over japan. I was in Tokyo, Nagano, Kanazawa and Kyoto, It even worked going through the long tunnels in the Alps region of Japan. And sending it back was easy. I put all the equipment in the return envelope and placed it in a Post office box.

I was unable to download the APN when arrived I Japan and therefore mailed S card back with hopes of being refunded.

This was a good product, easy to use and the instructions regarding return were clear and thorough. I thought service was excellent and I would recommend your company to travellers to Japan.

This is such a cool concept. The sim cards and instructions were at the post office when we arrived and set up was a bit confusing especially for the iphone users. But once I understood it was smooth. Have to also remember to delete the APN from iphone afterwards or else your own SIM card won't work. Overall it was a pleasant experience, would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to use cellular data in Japan.
