It was easy to get home and if there was some information missing they'd let you know. The wifi worked fast pretty much everywhere, even on top of Mt.Fuji. Its batterytime lasted almost half a day with above average usage. It was easy instructions to put everything in the envelope that came with it and leave it at the airport (terminal 2) post office. I'm happy with everything related to the service, especially as an inexperienced foreign traveler and someone that dislikes ordering things online.

It was great. Glad you had the option for me to pick it up in the airport..and that the airport has a postal service, so I could have used it immediately upon arrival (I didn't because of some luggage issues unrelated to your services). It works well and the connection's solid even if I have the device hidden deep in my bag it's still able to detect it. Can't comment on speed since I came from a country with the worst reported internet speed so yours would be a lot better. Will use your services again if I get another chance of returning to Japan.

I originally ordered a SIM card, but later realised I would need a portable wifi unit for multiple devices.
They happy refunded my SIM purchase partially, and allowed me to purchase a portable unit - this all happened smoothly and quickly.
Everything went smooth: I requested my sim card to arrive at the airport postal office, so immediately after landing I went pick my package up. When I opened the envelope, a document with all the instructions was provided, so after just 15min of installing my sim card I was able to surf internet. Speed was very decent and was able to post videos and photos of Instagram all day long without a problem. Just one day internet was slower but I guess it was because I used my phone as a hotspot for my husband's mobile phone. We had service almost everywhere except for obvious places like when going hiking, but to be honest we were very far from civilization. Luckily I got an email early in the morning reminding me to return the sim card, so I was able to return it on time. Very happy with the service, would definitely recommend.

Absolute must have for American tourists! Our experience was perfect. Wifi was waiting for us at the hotel, lasted all day for 9 days straight, dropped off at mailbox before jumping on bus to airport We will definitely use again on our next trip to Japan.
It couldn't be easier to get mobile internet for all your devices. Didn't even have to set anything up, just type in the password and it works.

Fast service. However they aren't lying when they say they slow down the service after 110mb. I couldn't load popular apps like Snapchat and Instagram. It works well if you need to use simple things like iMessage but isn't worth the price.

Easy process of picking up and sending back, but the wifi was unbelievably slow, we could hardly open websites without waiting for a very long time, using it for apps like maps were nearly impossible. It frustrated us throughout our trip. If I had known it was speeds of dial up internet I would've looked elsewhere.

I was at first reticent to use CD rental because you cant be contacted by phone if there was a problem. However compared to other rental wifis I looked at your complete service was explained better than any others. That along with the best price I found I decided to try it. (by the way there were no problems) . I was not disappointed and have nothing negative to say as everything from the start where I found my pre booked wifi waiting for me as ordered at my hotel in Tokyo to 19 days later posting it at Narita International Airport in the pre paid post pack. Everything was just as it was advertised. The wifi worked faultlessly for my whole trip and will gladly rent from them again.
I have rented Mobile WiFi standard speed for 5 days in Tokyo and surrounding areas. I used it for google maps and whatapp most of the time. I find the device is very good for my application,the WiFi signal is also strong in the underground train. The device look new and the battery last 8-9 hrs on the whole day, thought, I have a spare battery in my backpack. I would recommend this service for other traveller. CDJapan also informed you that your device have been returned.
Easy and clear. No problems getting the pocket wifi from post office in Narita. No problems using it--even in Hokkaido. Good coverage. No problems returning.

Pickup and return was very easy - terminal 1, post office. Return was great - right before I got into the security line, there is a post office box for United airlines. Wonderfully easy.
