very easy to use - no complaints at all

Very good service! It is cheaper than others and the quality of the portable modem is excellent! The battery lasts the whole day, and the signal reception was always perfect.

All worked seamlessly. Booked about 2 weeks before our trip. Picked up pocket WiFi at airport post office as planned. No problems using it for 3 of us all holiday. Put in bag and posted in local post office at 11.30pm of final day. Perfect! Really efficient and great value for money. Thanks!

Easy enough to rent online, pickup at the Airport and send back. The Wi-Fi hotspot worked fine through Japan with good speed. Very worth while to have internet for your devices.

I buy rental 2 weeks Softbank: High-Speed. Very successful experience. For 2 weeks I visited Tokyo, Kashiwa, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. Everywhere was an good connection, I used online maps and very quickly could find the place I needed. Also I sometimes upload photos. Not very fast, but quite acceptable speed, considering that the photos are large sizes. When I visit Japan again, I will turn to CDJapan.

I wouldn't recommend the 350 MB plan for 2 people unless you're both only texting. I used it for 2 weeks on my own with no problems at all, had great coverage and the batery lasts a lot. But one week I shared it with a friend and it was troublesome, if we were only texting it worked fine but if one tried using google maps and at the same time the other one would use and app like tripadvisor or even just searching on a browser would make the connection really slow. So I would recommend a mobile WiFi with higher speed if more than one person is gonna use it, but for one person use only is a great option for an excellent price. 100% recommend!

Very straight forward. I rent it for 10 +1 day and they had me informed of every step by mail.
An excellent service! It was my first time in Japan and it was easy to revive it and use it. The battery of the modem lasted all day, and and the signal has a nice range so if another person is with you, s/he can move around too. The return process is as easy as putting the same items in another envelope that was included. There’s a post box just outside customs in the airport where you can sent it back. I’ll be definitely using it on my next visit!

Service, speed and customer service was top notch.

Got coverage in areas such as: Tokyo (obv), Osaka, Hiroshima, Nagasaki (bit spotty from time to time).

Email notifications kept me up to date with when I was due to return the unit, I needed and extra day extension and it was only $5 USD extra which was awesome.

It was a good price for the speed and limit, but there were many places where I could not get a connections. For example, sometimes in the basements of train stations or department stores, I could not connect.

Excellent, would highly recommend, worked everywhere in Kyoto, Shibu Onsen and Tokyo. Clear concise instructions for use, return and extending hire period. Will definitely use on my next visit.

Really enjoyed the service. The device was waiting for me at the airport post office as soon as I arrived, despite only ordering 2 days prior to my flight. Enjoyed the unlimited data, which worked even in most underground stations. The device would last us a full day without needing charge, which was exceptional. Thorghly enjoyed the service.

Worked nicely, no problems at all. Used SIM card rental with iPhone X, good coverage and bandwidth.

Really good product, good price and the service makes it easy to receive it and return it back. Depending on the quantity of megabytes, it is necessary to shut it up sometimes to save battery and MB. Would certainly use this service again in my next trip to Japan.

very seamless, awesome service, seriously could not be any easier. connection was very stable and fast, even though i was average over 5GB/day. battery life lasted a day, which was perfect. would not hesitate to use again

Very difficult to say how this service could be better. To demonstrate how well it is organised the only criticism I have is the printed instructions are very small font size and a bit hard to read.

The rental service was easy to use. Got the device easy, it was also easy to return. It worked.

It was excellent having wi-fi so conveniently available and for very reasonable cost and easy to use.

Ease of use! The APN setting for iPhone was a bit confusing at first, but the website gives proper instruction on how to use it.

The WiFi device was very helpful. There was always a signal and no dropped connections. The plan was very affordable and the data was always high speed. I would definitely use your WiFi device again when I return to Japan.

The pocket WiFi worked perfectly while in Tokyo. It was at the hotel upon my arrival with easy to follow instructions. My friend and I shared the use of one device which worked out just fine. The moment we left the hotel, it switched over without any prompting. We didn’t have any issues at at with the service the entire week of the rental. The return process was simple and I especially appreciated the picture of the mailbox in the instructions. I’d use this company again if traveling to Japan.
