Great service. Easy directions for both collection and return of item. Only thing was the speed of the internet connection was a little lagging.

I guess the only feasible and cost effective scheme for any non japanese tourist

Great service, I turned up to my first hotel and the package was waiting for me.
I followed the instructions and that was it. Everything worked perfectly.
End of my trip, I posted it back. No problems. Great service.

It was my first time in Japan and I wanted to be connected all the time, and CD Japan didn´t dissapointed me giving excellent connectivity all around Japan 24 hs a day-
If I would travel to Japan again, I will choose CD Japan for sure, and in fact I think to recommend it to someone who travels to Japan.

Great service. Worked well everywhere - even in urban areas and mountains.
The data limit was more than sufficient. Overall was a really pleasant experience.

The pick up and return method was excellent. I was using the white wimax portable wifi router, but the signal was quite bad. I don't know why but even in the middle of Tokyo the signal would lost everytime I entered some of the buildings. I was a bit disappointed. However, the speed was great when the internet was available. Overall, it was good. Thank you! :D

The service was great. My pocket WiFi was available for me when I arrived at my hotel. I needed an extra day, and that process was simple as wel. I’ll use CDJapan Rental next time I go to Japan.

The rental service was very good and convenient. We even did not spent all the megabytes. And the signal was good during all the travel. Battery is enough if you realize of turning off during shinkansen travels and in some large places while visiting.

Great, timely service, SIM cards were there at Narita as expected. Had no trouble with either the coverage or the speed of the connection. We were using European model Galaxy S9 Duo-Sim (Exynos chip, not Qualcomm) and had no trouble running both our European SIM cards and the CDJapan SIM cards at the same time. Returning the SIMs was hassle free with the provided return envelope.

Very good service. I received the pocket WiFi to Narita airport and was able to pick it up right after I landed. It worked during my stay in Japan without any problems, and lasted the whole day. Returning was also very easy. I would highly recommend.

I rented one of the light data user wifi boxes. The speed of the wifi box was good, though sometimes it would take a long time to connect to my phone, despite there being good signal. But, if the box was turned off and then on again, or left for a few minutes, it would eventually connect. It was really easy to extend the rental period, and easy to return as well. Would definitely recommend, though do keep in mind there may occasionally be connection issues.

Second time using the service and very happy. It’s easy to set up and works pretty much everywhere. The price is extremely reasonable and I would recommend it for anyone planning on travelling to Japan. Especially if you want to move around a lot and need to look up directions or train times - it’s so easy

I found the device extremely useful during my stay in Japan. I was able to use LINE and Google maps thanks to the pocket wifi router.

WiFi worked really well with coverage and good speed everywhere (we spent most of the time in Hokkaido).

We collected from the airport post office (Osaka) with no problems and returned via the prepaid envelope again without any issues.

We got the 3 week deal and used it pretty much every day for google maps navigation in the car and a bit of surfing . Data included was plenty

Portable WIFI worked great, never had an issue during my 8 day stay in Japan. I would normally have 3 devices connected at one time (phone, IPAD and laptop) and no connectivity issues at all.

I was very happy with my pocket Wifi rental. It was waiting for me at my hotel when I checked in and drop off was easy at Haneda International in the red postal mailbox on the departure level. The service worked very well for me and I was pleased with everything.

Pocket wifi worked as advertised - the nice difference for CD Japan was upon return - receiving and email letting me know they received everything back and that we're square.
Overall - a pleasant/positive experience.

Great rental service! I’ve used CDJapan for pocket WiFi service last year for 90 days living in the outskirts of Tokyo and this time for 14 days for a vacation throughout all of Japan. Both times, I had no issues with their products. They provide clear instructions on how to use and how to return. They are fairly priced and have different options for data depending on your personal usage. I would recommend to everyone! Great product, high speed and I was able to connect easily everywhere I went, including Hakone, Kanazawa, Nagoya, Hiroshima, and, of course, Tokyo. The process is super simple and convenient. The price is very reasonable.
